El 26 de julio, el innovador álbum debut de David Bowie tendrá un resurgimiento vibrante en Deram con una reedición en CD y vinilo de colores, con listas de canciones exclusivas. Publicado originalmente el 1 de junio de 1966, David Bowie era un artista en la cúspide del genio, en el apogeo del Swinging London.

Esta reedición incluye el álbum estéreo original, producido por Mike Vernon, con catorce temas más, incluidos los primeros frutos de la larga relación de Bowie con el productor Tony Visconti; «Let Me Sleep Beside You», «Karma Man», «In The Heat Of The Morning» y «London Bye Ta-Ta», esta última debutando en vinilo en esta colección.
Al recordar su álbum debut, muchos años después, con su característico autodesprecio, Bowie reflexionó: “Líricamente, supongo que se trataba de esforzarse por ser algo: el narrador de historias cortas. Musicalmente es bastante extraño. No sé dónde estaba. Parecía tener sus raíces en todas partes, en el rock, el vodevil, el music hall y no sé qué. No sabía si era Max Miller o Elvis Presley”.
