La rama de Green Day, The Coverups, hizo una aparición en Los Ángeles este fin de semana de Halloween, tocando un set doble de 36 canciones en el Moroccan Lounge el viernes por la noche (28/10). La banda, compuesta por Billie Joe Armstrong y Mike Dirnt, junto con el guitarrista de gira Jason White, el ingeniero Chris Dugan y el mánager de gira Bill Schneider, tocaron toneladas de artistas durante el set: The Cure, Ramones, Bauhaus, Misfits, Cheap Trick, Nirvana. , David Bowie y más, además de un homenaje al recién fallecido Jerry Lee Lewis con «Great Balls of Fire».
